It has been a year since I last posted.....

Boy oh boy, where has the time gone. It has been a year since I last posted. A year ago in April my son and his girlfriend at the time had a baby boy. Jaisen is now a year old. Boy does time fly. A lot has been going on in my life. Some things that I can not go into detail about now but, maybe at a later date. I have been enjoying life, and applying the 3 L's in my life.....Live, Love and Laugh. I haven't laughed as much as I have in this past year that has gone by. I am working on a new outlook in life. Being happy is one of them. I no longer have to be what someone else wants....I can just be me. I am still working for a public high school as an administrative assistant to the assistant principal. I love my job; however, I am in a desperate need for a vacation. I am planning on taking vacation in July but, don't know if I can wait that long. I am hoping to see my mom this year. I am hoping she will come up from Florida to visit. Of course, when the weather gets warmer.

Speaking of the weather, what is with spring?  Where is it?  I am so looking forward to spending the days outside in the warm weather especially on the motorcycle. I will be going on two motorcycle runs so far in May. I am hoping for many more rides on the motorcycle. What a different experience being on the back of a motorcycle.

I am learning life is too short not to live it.

April 20, 2012 and new blessing came into this world

On April 20, 2012, a new little joyful blessing was brought into this world. Jaisen Edward Deering, 7 pounds 15 ounces, 20 inches long born at 8:33 in the evening. I am looking forward to every minute I am able to spend with my grandson.
